Update: Session 9
Negotiations resumed on a successor contract for the INA RN collective bargaining agreement. The parties met in person on July 18, 2024.
The parties started in caucus and upon return to the bargaining table, the INA made a presentation related to wage analysis speaking specifically to wages and step increases and used CPI (Consumer Price Index) as a benchmark to provide examples related to individual situations.
After their presentation, the INA introduced 10 new proposals related to wages.
UIC countered to three of INA's proposals related to security, special leave for birth or adoption of a child, staff development, and responded to their proposal related to patient limits.
