Update: Session 4

Negotiations resumed on a successor contract for the INA RN collective bargaining agreement. The parties met on July 2, 2024, for a full-day remote session. 

 The meeting began with UIC responding to INA's proposal related to Nursing Care Committee and Holidays. Finally, UIC and the INA discussed the INA's proposal related to Article 6 Section 20 Performance Appraisals. The Union presented a new proposal related to Health and Safety, after which both parties went into caucus; upon return from caucus, the union presented a proposal related to Vacation Availability and Schedules. The parties agreed to touch base at 4:30 p.m. before they moved to their last caucus of the day.
