Update: Session 30

Negotiations resumed on a successor contract for the INA RN collective bargaining agreement. The parties met virtually with the mediator present.

The joint session began with the INA presenting their counters to staff development, bilingual differential, low census day, shift, pandemic side letter, sick time benefit abuse, governance of sick leave, in house registry wages, on call, and float team. UIC's lead negotiator presented their counters to call-back differential, shift differential, schedule, association activity, information, bargaining team, preceptor differential, holiday, and vacation availability. The parties returned to their caucus.

Back in joint session, UIC's lead negotiator presented their counters to workweek, educational and professional development. The parties coordinated for the next bargaining session and returned to their caucus.
