Update: Session 26

UI Health and the INA met for sixteen hours; FMCS mediators Kevin Farrell and Richard Murphy were present. UI Health began the day by presenting its sixth economic proposal, including annual across-the-board annual increases in addition to annual step increases as well as annual incentive bonuses. Moreover, to address further demands by the Association related to staffing, UI Health modified its staffing model to significantly increase FTEs and to hold management accountable to providing appropriate and staffing levels for patients and staff. The INA ended the day by offering a comprehensive contract proposal, UI Health began the day by presenting its sixth economic. This proposal accepted a number of contract improvements offered by UI Health. UI Health responded with its own counter comprehensive package which it presented in a sidebar. The night ended with no TAs signed; UI Health maintained its commitment to continue to meet to come to a mutually beneficial agreement.
