Update: Session 23

September 11, 2020

UI Health and the INA met until the early morning of September 12, 2020; FMCS mediators Kevin Farrell and Richard Murphy were present. INA started the day with presenting a comprehensive economic counter proposal. After caucusing UI Health delivered a counters to economics and non-economics after which the INA delivered second economic counter proposal as well as a non-economic proposal. UI Health responded with a follow up economic counter proposal and the INA again provided another counter. The parties were in negotiations for over 14 hours, however it was mutually agreed upon to suspend discussions for the day. UI Health reiterated its commitment to continue to meet to come to a mutually beneficial agreement.
