UI Health and the INA met for a full day of bargaining; FMCS mediator Kevin Farrell was present for the afternoon. The INA presented a counterproposal to UI Health’s package proposal encompassing Articles VIII (Discipline) and IX (Labor Management Conferences) - unfortunately, little movement was made. UI Health also presented two additional package proposals, one of which encompassed float differential and float tracks and a second that encompassed scheduling and flexible scheduling. UI Health provided an all-inclusive response to the INA’s most recent economic counter, after which the parties welcomed CNC IIs and HURC IIs who came to negotiations to speak to UI Health’s and the INA’s proposals for salaried staff. The INA presented no new proposals.
