Update: Session 15

UI Health and the INA met for a full day of bargaining; FMCS mediator was not present. The session began with UI Health presenting two non-economic counter proposals, one related to the discipline and grievance procedure and the other related to management rights and information sharing. After a caucus, nurses and management from Care Continuum joined the session to discuss a new staffing allocation model in the unit. Negotiations concluded with UI Health presenting its detailed economic package, which continues to provide generous pay increases each year of a new contract and maintains UI Health's position as offering a compensation package among the highest in the Chicago metropolitan area, Illinois and the United States.
