Update: Session 12

August 6, 2020 session with the INA

UI Health and the INA met for a full day of bargaining. The session began with invited guests from leadership to discuss staffing. After a caucus, the group spoke with Float RNs from Ambulatory Services about current working conditions. After lunch, the teams reconvened beginning with UI Heal presenting three non-economic counter proposals. The INA then presented counter proposals related to non-economic articles that included the withdrawal of previously presented proposals. At the conclusion of the session the parties agreed to a joint request for mediation through Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service (FMCS).

The next session is scheduled for August 12, 2020.
